VISITORS TO MY WEBSITE
When someone visits www.katherinewhitby.co.uk I use a third party service, Wix Analytics, to collate standard internet login information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This is for information purposes only, to ascertain the number of visitors to the site for example, and is processed in a way that does not identify anyone. I do not make and do not allow Wix Analytics or wix.com to make any attempt to find out the identities of visitors. I use cookies so you can shop from this site. I also use cookies to enhance your experience and for analytics and marketing purposes. The Wix privacy policy is available to view at wix.com. I also use Site Booster through wix.com in order to assist users to find my website more easily via search engines.
If I need to collect personally identifiable information through this website I will be open and up front about this. I will make it clear when I am intending to collect personal information and what I am going to do with it.
MAILING LIST
I would like to be able to send you news, offers and information about my work through my Art Newsletter. To do this, I will need your name and email address. I will use this information to send you emails about my artwork, workshops, offers, blog posts and any events I am hosting and any other relevant information I feel might be of interest to you. I may also contact you to check that the information I hold about you is correct and to check that you are happy to continue to receive content from me.
I will never give, sell, trade or rent your data to any individual, organisation or business.
I use a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver my Art Newsletter, Mailchimp gathers statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help monitor and improve the newsletter. For more information please see the Mailchimp privacy policy.
You can unsubscribe from my mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of my emails. Alternatively you can email me directly at katherine@katherinewhitby.co.uk and I will remove your details from the list. Your personal details will be kept safely with Mailchimp and Wix until you choose to unsubscribe so that I am able to fulfil the purpose of sending you the newsletter when you have signed up to receive this.
CUSTOMERS
Should you wish to contact me through this website using my contact form, I will need your name and email address in order to send you a reply.
When you make a purchase through my website, I will need to share your details (including your address) with a third party such as postal or courier companies. This is to enable them to forward your order to you and your details will not be used or stored in any other way once this has been completed.
Your data will not be shared with any other individual, organisation or business.
Any purchase you make from my website is processed through either PayPal or the third party website, Wix Stores (which uses Wix payments to enable purchasers to use debit or credit cards without having to integrate a third party payment gateway). For accountancy purposes I keep a record of all orders received for five years.
